# Product Description
Aruba compatible JL485A is SFP28 (Small Form factor Pluggable 28) Transceiver, operating over Double Fiber Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) optical cable. It has minimum guaranteed optical budget of 2.7 dB when operating in 25G Ethernet mode and minimum guaranteed optical budget of 2.7dB when operating in 10G Ethernet mode, whitch in most cases is enough to reach about 400 meters using OM4 Multi-Mode fiber or 300 meters using OM3 Multi-Mode fiber cable. However, distance is just indicative parameter calculated for comfort of identification. Eventually we calculate distance taking in account minimal optical budget and average attenuation of optical cabling in industry. This transceiver use top quality VSCEL Laser transmitter with operating at nominal wavelength 850 nm. and 850 nm. PIN photodiode receiver. This module support DDM/DOM optical diagnostics, that provide diagnostic information about the present operating conditions. Our Aruba compatible SFP28 transceiver operates in Standard 0°-70°C temperature range and has Double LC interface. Aruba compatible JL485A support 8.5-28.1 Gbps data rate and such applications as 25G Ethernet (25.78Gbps), 10G Ethernet (10.31Gbps). Aruba compatible SFP28 Double Fiber optical transceiver is multi-purpose module used in number of different places of today’s networking. Consequently, most popular applications are Internet Service Provider (ISP) Access and Metro Networks, Data Center Core Networks and Enterprise Campus Networks.
Aruba compatible JL485A is CE/RoHS certified and meets product safety requirements. We run compatibility tests on the Aruba compatible Transceiver using the newest Aruba networking platforms, allowing us to encode the transceiver’s EEPROM memory to be compatible and work seamlessly with Aruba systems. Our optical transceivers, on the other hand, comply with the SFP28 Multi Source Agreement and the SFF-8472 industry standard.
