# Product Description
CFP-100G-SR10 is Cisco Compatible 100GBASE-SR10 CFP (Centum Form Factor Pluggable) Transceiver, operating over pair of multi-mode optical fiber with 10 independent optical communication lanes with speed of 10.3125Gbps (Ethernet application) or 11.181Gbps (OTU4 application). Module has minimum guaranteed optical budget of 1.9 dB, which in most cases is enough to reach reach 150 m over OM4 multi-mode fiber, or 100 m over OM3 multi-mode fiber. However, distance is just indicative parameter calculated for comfort of identification. Eventually we calculate distance taking in account minimal optical budget and average attenuation of optical cabling in industry. Compatible CFP-100G-SR10 uses 10 x VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) transmitters operating at nominal wavelength 850 nm and 10 x 850 nm PIN Photodiode receivers. Compatible CFP-100G-SR10 module converts 10 parallel electrical data inputs to 10 parallel optical data output signals and also converts 10 parallel optical signals into 10 parallel electrical signals through an array of PIN photodiodes and associated circuit. Module support DDM/DOM optical diagnostics, which provide diagnostic information about the present operating conditions. Compatible CFP-100G-SR10 module requires Single 3.3V Power Supply and has less then 7W power consumption. Module operates in Standard 0°-70°C temperature range, and has MTP/MPO connector.
Compatible CFP-100G-SR10 support up to 103.125-111.81 Gbps data rate and such applications as 100G Ethernet (103.125Gbps), Optical Transport Network OTU4 4I1-9D1F (111.81Gbps). Cisco Compatible CFP-100G-SR10 optical transceiver is multi-purpose module used in number of different places in today’s networking environment. Most popular applications are Internet Service Provider (ISP) Fiber to the Home Aggregation and Backbone, Mobile Operator Core Networks, Mobile Backhaul and Data Center networking site interconnections.
To ensure compatibility we have tested compatible CFP-100G-SR10 Transceiver in latest platforms of Cisco networking equipment, which allows us to encode transceiver EEPROM memory to be compatible and work seamlessly with Cisco platforms.
