The CWDM-SFP10G-1570 is a Cisco compatible SFP+ (Small Form-factor Pluggable) Transceiver that operates over a Double Fiber CWDM Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) optical connection. The module has a minimum assured optical budget of 16 dB, which is usually enough to reach a distance of around 40 kilometers. However, distance is just a guideline parameter being used for ease of identification. Finally, we calculate distance using the industry’s average attenuation of optical cabling and the minimum optical budget. The Cisco compliant CWDM-SFP10G-1570 Transceiver uses a high-quality EML Laser transmitter with a nominal wavelength of 1570 nm and a PIN Photodiode receiver with a wavelength of 1270-1610 nm. DDM/DOM optical diagnostics are supported by this module, which provide diagnostic information regarding the current operating conditions. The Cisco compatible CWDM-SFP10G-1570 has a Double LC interface and operates in the standard 0°-70°C temperature range. This CWDM SFP+ optical module supports data rates of 9.95-11.32Gbps for applications such as 10G Ethernet (10.31Gbps), STM-64 (9.95Gbps), OTU2 (10.70Gbps), OTU1e (11.049Gbps), OTU2e (11.095Gps), OTU1f (11.27Gbps), OTU2f (11.32Gbps), ODU2 (10.037Gbps), ODU2e (10.037Gbps), ODU (10.399Gbps). The SFP+ Double Fiber CWDM optical transceiver is a multi-purpose module that can be found in a variety of networking applications. As a result, the most popular applications include Internet Service Provider (ISP) Fiber To The Home aggregation and backbone, Mobile operator core and backhaul SDH/SONET applications, and Data Center networking site interconnections, where operators can save fiber resources and establish long-distance transmission links up to 9x10G channels using Single Fiber CWDM technology or up to 18x10G channels using a Double Fiber CWDM technology
