This side transmits at 1490 nm and receives at 1310 nm, pairing with a Cisco GLC-BX-U compatible that transmits at 1310 nm and receives at 1490 nm; two GLC-BX-D units will not link. The optical engine uses a DFB laser and PIN photodiode, spanning 1.063 to 1.25 Gbps with 430 to 500 ps/nm dispersion tolerance.
