# Product Description

The Juniper Networks EX-SFP-1GE-LX (740-011614) compatible SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) Transceiver (sometimes referred to as Juniper SFP LX10) listed here (including price & datasheet) is based on our 1.25G-SFP-10D-JU product, which is designed to meet or exceed OEM part specifications. This module is intended for use with Double Fiber Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) optical cable. It has a minimum guaranteed optical budget of 13 dB, which in most cases is sufficient to reach approximately 10 kilometers. However, distance is merely an indicative parameter calculated for identification convenience. Eventually, we calculate distance based on the minimal optical budget and average attenuation of industrial optical cabling. Transceiver employs a top-quality FP Laser transmitter with a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm and a 1310 nm PIN Photodiode receiver. Module supports DDM/DOM optical diagnostics, which provide diagnostic information about the present operating conditions. Juniper Networks compatible operates in Standard 0°-70°C temperature range and has Double LC interface. Module supports 1.063-1.25Gbps data rate and such applications as Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps), 1G Fiber Channel (1.0625 Gbps). Transceiver is multi-purpose module used in number of different places of today’s networking.
