Double Fiber 10G SFP+ Modules

The Huawei SFP+ 10G transceiver double fiber compatibles listed below are the most popular Huawei SFP+ modules found in various Huawei product series such as the CloudEngine and S Series switches. These standard Double Fiber modules are used in scenarios ranging from a couple of meters up to 80 kilometers and we can split them in Huawei SFP 10G Single Mode and Multi Mode based on the optical fiber type used for interconnection. Furthermore if we look on Multi Mode versions, there are OMXD30000 and SFP-10G-USR compatibles, which appear to be similar at first glance. However, in Huawei’s portfolio, SFP-10G-USR are Ultra Short Reach modules designed for interconnection distances less than 100 meters, whereas in our compatible range for both of these Multi Mode Fiber transceivers, we use the same hardware capable of linking up to 400 meters over OM4/OM5 type MMF cable. Because the TX and RX frequencies cross at either end, BiDi 10G optical transmitters must always be used in pairs. In below selection are avaliable BIDI Huawei SFP+ 10G variations with up to 10km or 40km distance support, however we can provide BIDI Huawei SFP+ 10G transceivers for interconnection distances as long as 80 kilometers.

DWDM Tunable 10G SFP+ Compatible

The Huawei compatible product with the ability to support wavelength tuning according to network designer needs is listed below. Huawei DWDM Tunable SFP+ is a favored solution for large-scale DWDM networks because it reduces spares and simplifies network planning. To tune the wavelength to any lambda, the Huawei host CLI or an external transceiver programming device are used, but not all Huawei host devices support wavelength tuning functionality. The Huawei DWDM Tunable transceiver can connect Huawei devices up to 80 kilometers apart by tuning into the 50GHz DWDM ITU-T C-Band Channel (17 to 61) spectrum.

Huawei CWDM 10G SFP+ Compatibles

As with many other CWDM solutions, Huawei CWDM 10G optics cover eight classical wavelengths (1470 to 1610nm). These wavelengths have been matched with compatible versions of our products to provide Huawei CWDM compatible 10G transceivers, as shown below. It is important to note that the scope of our product portfolio is significantly larger, we can provide Huawei CWDM SFP+ compatible solutions in all ITU-T G.694.2 wavelengths range, thus 18 channels (1270 to 1610nm) range, used at greater distances – up to 80 kilometers or even 100km (only 1470 to 1550nm wavelength are avaliable for 100km due to high dispersion in other wavelenght range) – and can be used in most Huawei platforms such as CloudEngine series, S series, NetEngine series, Optix series, and others with help of custom tailored Huawei compatible coding!

Fiber Channel 16G/8G SFP+ Compatibles

We can provide compatible Huawei SFP+ 16G and 8G Fiber Channel modules. The 10G Fiber Channel protocol was the first to use 64b/66b encoding. Previous versions of Fibre Channel (1, 2, 4, and 8 Gb) used 8b/10b encoding. Our compatible Huawei Fiber Channel section includes 8G Short Wave modules for multi-mode fiber interconnection and distances up to 400 meters over OM4 type fiber, 8G Long Wave modules for single mode fiber interconnection and distances up to 10km, and 16G FC Short Wave modules for MMF fiber interconnection and distances up to 100 meters over OM4 type fiber.

The XFP 10G optical transceivers are designed to support multi-rate applications such as 10G Ethernet and OC-192/STM-64 and are predecessor generation of 10G data rate transceivers before Huawei SFP+ 10G. Huawei XFP 10G transceivers are currently primarily used for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Packet-over-SONET/SDH (POS) connectivity options in service provider transport applications, data centers or enterprise networks.
