# Product Description

        CS-LC-OS2-UPC-DX-A are CS connector Senko CS to LC patch cables, OS2 Single-mode, 2 Fiber, Type A to A cable available in length from 1 meter to 10 meters. This CS to LC cable uses 9/125 micron Single-mode fiber with cable jacket diameter of 2 mm. Cable jacket material is Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) which ensures lower smoke and zero smoke characteristics. CS to LC cable supports wavelengths ranging from 1310nm to 1610nm. CS and LC connector insertion loss is 0.3dB. Operating temperature is rated to -20C to +60C which suits a wide range of environments. CS-LC-OS2-UPC-DX-A CS to LC cable is manufactured with Type A to A crossover configuration to support transceiver to patch panel connections at the situation when a CS connector compatible transceiver has to be connected to backward compatible patch panel with LC connectors.

         The CS connector Senko patch cables is an evolution in optical connectivity where CS connectors feature a 40% size reduction when compared to LC duplex connectors at the same time delivering increased performance. Connectors have two cylindrical, spring-loaded 1.25mm ferrules similar to LC connectors, within a single housing, but the CS connector’s two ferrules are pitched at 3.8mm apart (standard LC duplex ferrules are pitched 6.25mm apart), which is the minimum possible spacing to meet the TOSA and ROSA optics requirement. Edge to edge size for CS connectors is 7.85mm, while for standard LC duplex connectors it is 13mm. The CS Connectors are standardized by the CS Consortium.

         CS-LC-OS2-UPC-DX-A CS connector Senko patch cables are CE/RoHS certified and are compliant with product safety standards. CS to LC cable is fully compliant to the following product standards: Telcordia GR 326 CORE, IEC 613003-35-2015, IEC 61755-3-31 2015, and following fiber and cable standards: ISO/IEC 11801-1:2017, IEC60793-2-50 Single mode optical fiber cable transmission performance requirements and single mode optical fiber bending loss requirements and following data center cabling standards: ISO/IEC 11801-5, GB 50174, ISO/IEC 24764. IEC 61034 low smoke no halogen (LSZH), in accordance with IEC 60332-1, IEC60332-3C flame retardant performance.
