         25G-PDAC-SFP28 is Multi-Vendor MSA Compatible 25G Passive Twinax Cable, operating over copper cable. 25G Passive twinax cable is equipped with MSA standard compatible SFP28 transceiver assembly at each end of cable. Main difference distinguishing Passive from Active Twinax cables is that Passive cables do not support any electrical transmission signal boosting or regeneration. 25G Passive Twinax cable support 1.25 – 25.78 Gbps multi-rate communication and such applications as 25G Ethernet (25Gbps) | 10G Ethernet (10.31Gbps) | 32G Fiber Channel (28.05Gbps). Most popular applications of 25G Passive Twinax Cables are cost effective close range interconnections within equipment room of telecom operators or data centers, interconnecting LAN or SAN applications with speeds up to 28G.
25G Passive Twinax Cable is CE/RoHS certified and it is Compliant with product safety standards. 25G-PDAC-SFP28 is fully compliant to SFP28 Multi Source Agreement SFF-8402. Consequently, it means that module is compatible with 80% of networking equipment, where is not implemented a special algorithm for protection against third party modules. However – we can provide 25G Passive Twinax Cable with custom-encoded firmware in order to make it work almost in any equipment and we can support encoding of each end to support different vendor equipment, allowing using Passive Twinax Cable as cross-platform interconnection medium.
