           100G-PDAC-QSFP is Multi-Vendor MSA Compatible 100G Passive Twinax Cable, operating over passive copper cable. 100G Passive twinax cable is equipped with MSA standard compatible QSFP28 transceiver assembly at each end of cable. As passive Twinax cables do not support any electrical transmission signal boosting on regeneration, length of 100G Passive Twinax cable is limited up to 7 meters, which is enough to support 100G connections within same or neighboring equipment racks. 100G Passive Twinax cable supports 4 separate fully duplex copper data lanes, which support 96.97-112.2 Gbps multi-rate communication and such applications as 100G Ethernet (100.125Gbps) | OTU4 (112Gbps) | 4 x InfiniBand EDR(96.97Gbps) | 4x 32G Fiber Channel (112.2Gbps). Most popular applications of 100G Passive Twinax Cables are cost effective close range interconnections within equipment room of telecom operators or data centers, interconnecting LAN or SAN applications with speeds up to 100G.
100G Passive Twinax Cable is CE/RoHS certified and it is Compliant with product safety standards. 40G-PDAC-QSFP is fully compliant to QSFP28 Multi Source Agreement SFF-8665. Consequently, it means that module is compatible with 80% of networking equipment, where is not implemented a special algorithm for protection against third party modules. However – we can provide 100G Passive Twinax Cable with custom-encoded firmware in order to make it work almost in any equipment and we can support encoding of each end to support different vendor equipment, allowing using 100G Passive Twinax Cable as cross-platform interconnection medium.
