Cisco Compatible Transceivers – Yes, it`s done! Matching our product portfolio with Cisco transceivers allows you to find outstanding quality and cost-effective alternatives.

Cisco compatible transceivers

We are a supplier of compatible optical transceiver products, known for their outstanding quality and reasonable cost. Cisco compatible transceivers are in high demand as Cisco is one of the largest and best-known manufacturers of modern communication systems. Network engineers around the industry are often accustomed to the SKU logic of Cisco transceivers, which is different from the SKU logic of our products. For ease of identification, we used the Cisco Transceiver Compatibility Matrix to match our compatible transceiver product line with Cisco part codes, allowing engineers to quickly find out our Cisco compatible optics replacement product. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to Contact Us.

10G SFP+ & XFP

Our 10G SFP+ and XFP Cisco compatible transceivers provide a cost-effective alternative to most 10 Gigabit Ethernet deployments on mainstream Cisco platforms. Additionally, you can also find alternatives to the enterprise-class 10G Cisco S-Series transceivers, as well as X-Series industrial modules with extended temperature ranges and already declining 10G XFP optical modules.

100G QSFP28, CFP, CFP2

Here we enfold 100G Cisco compatible transceivers, beginning with the current industry mainstream 100G QSFP28 form factor and going through popular application transceivers such as 100G SR4, BiDi, LR4, ER4, and ZR4, and concluding with the older generation 100G form factors CFP and CFP2, which are still in high demand for Cisco ASR9000 and CRS gear.

50G SFP56

To double the data rates of the existing SFP28 Cisco links, we provide Cisco compatible 50GBASE SFP56 transceivers. Cisco compatibles support data rates ranging from 10.31-53.125 Gbps and such applications as 10G Ethernet, 25G Ethernet and 50G Ethernet. Below you can find our short and long range Cisco 50GBASE compatible modules.

40G QSFP+

In the QSFP+ Cisco optics compatible section, you’ll find modules operating at 40G data rates (4x 10Gbps) and designed for SR4, LR4, and ER4 applications, as well in addition quite specialized transceivers for 40G BIDI and 40G to SFP+ 10G applications.

25G SFP28

As more access and metro connections shift from 10G to 25G rates, the 25G SFP28 form factor has emerged and all major Cisco series (Nexus, Catalyst, NCS) have 25G SFP28 ports. This section enfold our Cisco third party SFP 25G modules for SR, LR, ER, and BIDI applications.

GE SFP

Our compatible GE Cisco SFP modules include all of the still widely used transceivers for Gigabit Ethernet applications, such as 1000BaseSX, 1000BaseLX/LH, and 1000BaseZX. There are Cisco SFP modules that are suitable with both regular and industrial temperature environments.

BiDi

BiDi transceivers rely on WDM technology, which separates transmission directions using different wavelengths, allowing them to preserve fiber resources and provide full duplex connections using just one strand of fiber optics. All of our Cisco 3rd party SFP, QSFP+, QSFP28, and even XFP BiDi solutions for usage in your Cisco equipment can be found here.

CWDM

Cisco 3rd party SFP, SFP+ CWDM modules, and passive filters are an excellent, low-cost, and reliable way to increase traffic capacity by establishing up to 18 parallel channels for interconnection distances up to 100 kilometers. Here we go through Cisco third party SFP 1G and 10G SFP+ modules while also addressing our CWDM filters for a complete end-to-end solution design.

DWDM

DWDM as a technology offers the same advantages as CWDM, but with a few added twists – we can have more channels (up to 40), tunable wavelength transceivers, and we can deploy EDFA boosters to enhance the reach of DWDM systems. This section goes through our Cisco 3rd party SFP 1.25G DWDM, 10G SFP+ and XFP tunable and fixed lambda transceivers, additionally, EDGE Optic DWDM filters are addressed.

Fibre Channel

Used in Cisco MDS 9000 and Cisco Nexus platforms, Fiber Channel as a Storage Area Network protocol is highly favored by those looking for robust, low-latency, high-bandwidth technology to interconnect computer data storage with servers. Starting with the highly common Cisco compatible transceivers with 32G and 16G fiber channel rates, this section covers 10GFC, 8GFC, 4GFC, and 1GFC transceivers as well.

DAC

Direct Attach Cables (DAC) are high-speed copper cable assemblies that do not use optical lasers, making them a cost-effective and energy-saving alternative for connecting equipment over distances of up to 15 meters—typically within data centers or equipment rooms of telecom operators or enterprises. Here, we may prepare our products to function successfully on the Cisco platforms. You can check out our DACs and Breakouts 10G–100G choices.

AOC

If the distance is larger than 15m, Active Optical Cables (AOC) are an excellent choice for local use – within service providers’ or enterprises’ data centers or equipment rooms. For extremely small distances, DAC cables are the best option, although AOC is better for up to 100 m. Significant advantages include being substantially lighter than Twinax DAC cables, consuming less power than transceivers, and having a high resistance to electromagnetic radiation (EMI). You are invited to explore our Cisco compatible AOC & Breakouts 10G–100G products.

200G & 400G

The 400G & 200G QSFP-DD section contains Cisco compatible transceivers with one of the industry’s highest data rates. Here, we cover QDD 400G PAM4 Cisco optics such as SR8, LR8, DR4, and FR4, as well as 2x100G QDD modules which can help in the migration to PAM4 infrastructure while enabling interconnections to existing 100G QSFP28 NRZ ports.

Meraki

This section provides a summary of our Meraki (a Cisco Systems business unit) compatible optical transceivers. Also, Meraki devices are highly open in regard to third-party SFP, but many customers are still accustomed to Meraki part numbers. Here, we provide an overview of our compatible Meraki transceivers for 1G SFP, 10G SFP+, 40G QSFP+, 100G QSFP28 and Meraki Twinax cables.

Other Cisco compatible transceivers

There are several Cisco compatible transceivers that are quite rare, however still time after time demanded by our customers. This section goes through Cisco compatible Fast Ethernet SFPs and Cisco optics for ONS 15454 MSPP platform.

End Of Life

This section includes Cisco compatible optical transceivers that have reached their End-of-Life status. These transceivers once had widespread usage but are either becoming more hard to find or have been discontinued entirely. Alternatives are available from us in the event that you still have network equipment and a want for the aforementioned items in order to establish necessary connections. This section includes details on Cisco GBIC compatibles, Cisco X2 optics, and Cisco XENPAK 10G transceivers, among other topics.
